Creamy Macaroni and Cheese
Dutch oven cooking is as popular now as it was centuries ago and today’s cooks have discovered that
this type of cookware is capable of producing an amazing array of delicious meals. We have collected many

Macaroni is one of the all times favorite in any household especially with this kind of recipe; full of
creamy and palatable cheese that makes you want to have the whole serving just for yourself. Bon

Ingredients:
1/2 lb Elbow macaroni, dry
12 oz Sharp cheddar cheese, grated (3cups)
1 c Fresh bread crumbs
1 1/2 tablespoon Unsalted butter, melted
1 12oz can evaporated milk
1/4 teaspoon Ground black pepper
1 teaspoon Dry mustard
4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
2 large Eggs
1 teaspoon Water
1/4 teaspoon Red pepper sauce
2 teaspoons Salt
1 pinch Salt
Cooking Instructions:
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Cooking Steps:
- Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a small baking pan mix together the bread crumbs, 1 1/2 teaspoons melted butter and pinch of salt
and bake for about 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
- Meanwhile in a small bowl mix together the eggs, 1 cup of evaporated milk, pepper sauce, ½ teaspoon
of salt and pepper.
- Dissolve the mustard in the 1 teaspoon of water and add to the egg mixture then set
aside.
- Heat 2 quarts of water in a large Dutch oven and bring into a boil.
- Add 1 ½ teaspoons of salt and macaroni, cook until al dente. Drain and return to the pan, reduce the
heat then add butter and toss to melt.
- Pour over the egg mixture to the macaroni and ? of cheese. Stir well until fully combined and cheese
is melted.
- Slowly add the remaining milk and cheese, stir constantly until heated through for about 5
minutes.
- Serve with toasted bread crumbs on top.
