Freshly Baked Fish with Almond Stuffing
Dutch oven cooking is as popular now as it was centuries ago and today’s cooks have discovered that
this type of cookware is capable of producing an amazing array of delicious meals. We have collected many

A meal in itself when served with a green salad!
Ingredients:
5 1/2 lb Whole bass or red snapper cleaned and washed
1/2 cup chopped and toasted almonds
2 tablespoons butter
8 tablespoons butter
3 cup soft bread crumbs
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped green onion
3 eggs, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon dried tarragon
Salt and fresh ground pepper
Cooking Instructions:
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 1 hour and 15 minutes
Cooking Steps:
- Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- Saute the onion in2 tablespoons butter until soften. Then add the celery,
green pepper, almonds, eggs, bread crumbs, parsley, and tarragon. Mix
well.
- Stuff the fish with the mixture and tuck
down.
- Melt the 8 tablespoons butter, line a large shallow baking dish with foil,
and pour a little melted butter over the bottom.
- Put the fish in the foil and dash with salt and
pepper.
- Bake for about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- Do not overcook.
