Macaroni and Cheese with Ground Beef, Salsa and Green

greatly over the past several years as many people discover the benefits of using these cast iron pots and

want something very quick and easy during picnic on a weekend. Just adjust the spices if it’s too spicy for your
family. Definitely a big hit because of its wonderful rich and creamy flavor that will surely blends with the
beauty of nature in a Saturday afternoon.
Ingredients:
Creamy Macaroni and Cheese (left over)
1/8 teaspoon Salt and black pepper to taste
1 pound lean ground beef
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 cup salsa (your choice of hotness)
1 (4.5 ounce) can chopped green chilies
Cooking Instructions:
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Cooking Steps:
- Cook the ground beef in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Season with salt and pepper; let it cook
until most of the liquid evaporates, more or less 5 minutes.
- Stir in the chili powder, chilies, and salsa and let it simmer for about 2 to 3
minutes.
- Add the cilantro then stir in with your creamy macaroni and cheese leftover.
- Place in a container and put in your picnic basket.
